Downtown pizza joint robbed twice in 2 weeks

A downtown pizza place has been robbed twice within two weeks.

Sunday, September 8, Charleston Pizza Co. on Ashley Avenue was robbed around 11:30 p.m.

According to the Charleston Police department, three juveniles robbed Charleston Pizza Co. while a fourth stood lookout.  An employee's wallet was also taken.

Monday, September 9, Police say they arrested four juveniles, aged 13-to-15-years-old.

Three are charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.  The fourth juvenile is charged with armed robbery.  They are being held at the juvenile detention center.

Charleston Pizza Co. was also robbed on Friday, July 31 by two males armed with a rifle.

At this time, detectives have not connected the two robberies.
