Charleston firefighters to reveal calendar benefiting animals

From our News Partners at WCBD-TV:

All proceeds from the event and calendar sales will go to Toby's Fund, Charleston Animal Society's Medical Fund, which treats the community's injured, abused and abandoned animals. The calendars are $20. Discounts are offered with the purchase of event tickets.

The theme of the debut party is "Some Like it Hot", and the calendar features 13 Charleston area firefighters along with pets from the Animal Society.

The event, at the Woolfe St. Playhouse, features a calendar reveal, dance number performed by the firefighters, a live auction of "dream dates" with single firefighters, and a fashion show.

Caroline Eller with the Charleston Animal Society said the calendars have the potential to raise half of a million dollars for the organization.

 WHEN: Thursday, September 12th from 6:00PM - 10:30PM

WHERE: 34 Woolfe St, Charleston, SC 29403
